Washing machines and washstands are common areas for water leakage from under the floor.

In the case of internal leaks, most of the work is done while disassembling the machine, which is not easy to do at home, so a professional plumber is usually required.
  When repairing leaks from faucets and drainage hoses, be sure to read the manual carefully to confirm the model number and other details before proceeding.

• (2) Repair or replacement of leaking laundry pan/drain

  The cause of the strange and foul odors that are noticed when doing laundry is mostly due to the drainage trap installed in the laundry pan, and the solution is to replace the drainage trap or repair it by cleaning it, etc.
  The drainage trap is simply explained as a device to channel the wastewater from the laundry tank and control backflow, clogging, and odors from within the drainage ditch. It also serves to prevent insects from coming up through the drain.

• How to close the main valve for the entire house

  In the case of a leak in the toilet, kitchen, bath, sink, etc., first calm down and turn off the water. You can shut off the water by turning off the "water shutoff valve" at the point where the leak is occurring.
  If you do not see a water shutoff valve, or if shutting off the water supply to your entire home is not a problem, please turn off the main water valve.
